How did you get started in your swimming?
In preschool I had swimming lessons and got invited by a swimming club to join them.
Goals for the next year?
Personal best better by 2-3 seconds
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
College, still swimming for at least recreation.
What has been your biggest challenge as an athlete and how did you overcome it?
Morning practice, I had to set a lot of alarm clocks.
Best advice that you have been given?
Stay motivated and have high goals.
Video games, TV series.
What’s the best part of competing?
When you see your good results and you realize that all the hard work paid off.

Music, activation excercises.

Gone to the Youth Olympic Games.
Best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Don’t give up.
What would be your perfect meal?
A soup, burger with fries, onion rings, steak, cake with ice cream and coffee.
What performance are you most proud of?
200m Breaststroke in EJC Helsinki 2018 and YOG Buenos Aires 2018.
Hardest sport moment you’ve had to push through?
Nervousness prior to the start of the race.
What have you learned from swimming that has helped you in other parts of your life?
Hard work pays off.
Favourite place to eat?
If you had to travel either forward in time or backward in time, which would you choose?
Forward in time to have more advanced technology.
What motivates you to keep training?
Passion for swimming.
Favourite time of year?
Of all the people you have trained with over the years, from whom have you learned the most and why?
My own coach Matija Medvesek and former Slovenian swimmer Sara Isakovic.
How many hours do you train at a given week?
Best memory you have from a time when you were training?
National training camp.

I don’t read books.
What does a typical day of training look like?
Food, fitness, training, food, school, food, practice, food, homework or free time, food, sleep.
Anything people be surprised to learn about you?
That I listen to metal music.
What is the funniest thing has happened to you/others while training?
When my teammate threw up during practice.

Movie – Star Wars; TV series – White Collar, Once Upon a Time

Absolute national 200m breaststroke record in 50m pools
